Visit to Arnhem, 1947

This is quite a remarkable essay.

Mavis was in the Fourth Year in 1946/47, and now lives in Australia.  

In August 1947, only two years after the end of the war, she went on a school trip to Arnhem, and now (January 2010), over 62 years after the event, sends us this essay, illustrated by her photographs - all her own work, and a phenomenal feat of memory!
