"The old girl prefects, they ain't

what they used to be"

The fifth day of November
Was a day to remember
When the female prefects of this school
Were certainly made to act the fool
By Dave Scott, Ivan Hibbert, Mike Jennings,
Alf Selby, Old Uncle Bob Millward and all,
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all!

The crowds were there in their number
They'd waken up early from their slumber,
The Hockey Match started at 10 a.m.
And the girls were beaten by the men.
By Grey Hart, Norman Godfrey, James Slater,
John Wood, Old Uncle Bob Millward and all,
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all!

The boys they quickly went ahead,
And the girls—they wished they'd stayed in bed,
They played as though they were in a dream
And were beaten by THE BETTER TEAM,
By Norman Buckley, Mike Taylor, Alf Selby,
Mike Jennings, Old Uncle Bob Millward and all.
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all!

The girls they finished a very tired lot.
The boys' ten goals had started the rot,
The scorers were Taylor (2) and John Wood,
Jennings and Slater added more
Helped by Dave Scott, Norm Godfrey, Grey Hart,
Ivan Hibbert, Old Uncle Bob Millward and all,
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all!

As we hobbled from the field
Hoping our wounds would soon heal,
We'd been hit and kicked and bitten as well!
So we told the girls to go to ----!
For their tea and biscuits ! ! !
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all,
Old Uncle Bob Millward and all!
