The Venue - Werneth Golf Club

 

Werneth Golf Club proved to be a perfect venue for this sort of informal get-together, and we were greatly helped in arranging things by Steve Walton, who is a member there (and lives next door!), and John Barlow, who is the secretary.

The Club celebrates its centenary this year.

 

 

 

 

 

We did have a chance to peruse the honour-boards, one of which comprises sets of photographs of Captains over the years.  One of those at least didn't need much introduction to us!
